About The Position

With our spa newly refreshed, we need a Maintenance Technician who can keep it looking and performing its best.The Maintenance Tech repairs and maintains machinery, plumbing, physical structures and electrical wiring and fixtures in accordance with blueprints, manuals, building codes and company maintenance policy. They will work to create a positive team environment, as well as achieving optimum performance. The Maintenance Tech will assist with maintaining the AAA Four Diamond standards. This postion will work Sunday to Thursday from 10am to 6:30pm. The Spa Facilities Maintenance Tech will always conduct themselves in manner which supports the Core Values of Sunriver Resort:T rust, Commitment, and Open and Honest Communication. They shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times and for exemplifying the Sunriver Resort Culture as well as promoting Sunriver Resort as both the Destination and Employer of Choice!

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic carpentry, electrical and plumbing experience required
  • Must have valid Oregon Driver’s license and meet company driving standards
  • Must be able to work with power operated landscaping equipment
  • Must be comfortable working in a guest focused spa environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionally.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time throughout the day
  • Must be frequently able to lift up to 35lbs unassisted and occasionally lift up to 50lbs or more with assistance
  • Must be able to climb up and down ladders
  • Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and walk on uneven surfaces

Nice To Haves

  • Prior hospitality or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance, repair, and appearance of all physical property
  • Investigates failures in equipment and make required repairs.
  • Communicate and work directly with subcontractors to make larger repairs.
  • Performs and/or schedules preventative maintenance and repair tasks on equipment including furnaces, air handlers, boilers, hot water heaters, gym equipment, and other machinery.
  • Completes installation and maintenance of pickleball court hedges, nets, gates, and associated components
  • Performs light plumbing repairs on fixtures pr piping including sinks, showers, hot water heaters, and their associated components.
  • Performs light electrical repairs on fixtures or wiring (120V) including lamps, switches/dimmers, and their associated components.
  • Performs light repairs to woodwork, drywall, and finish work.
  • Supports Spa staff with stocking of towels, sundries, and other amenities.
  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all Sunriver policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
