About The Position

The Spa Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the spa operations at JW Marriott Chicago, including managing staff, coordinating spa services, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Requirements

• 2-year degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 4 years of relevant experience; OR a 4-year bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in spa management, guest services, front desk, sales, or marketing.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all areas of the spa, including programs, services, and staff.
• Coordinate the delivery of spa services such as salon, skin care, fitness, wellness, and massage.
• Direct and work with the management team and hourly employees to execute spa operations effectively.
• Select vendors for spa retail operations and manage contract agreements.
• Oversee retail product research, selection, and purchasing.
• Monitor the spa's actual and projected sales to meet revenue goals.
• Create and coordinate special services and promotions for groups.
• Develop and manage spa marketing strategies and promotions.
• Monitor payroll and manage controllable expenses to achieve budget goals.
• Empower employees to provide excellent customer service and improve service performance.
• Conduct human resources activities including hiring, training, and performance appraisals.
