About The Position

Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned, as necessary. To perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Greets all guests in a professional, friendly manner. Answers telephone and books all appointments for spa and salon. Must be able to accurately balance cash drawer on a daily basis. Responsible for the cleanliness of the reception area. Works with health club manager & supervisor to achieve department retail sales goals. Maintain cleanliness of locker room area. Open and close the facility according to the specified standards. Serves as a guide when bringing guests to and from services.

Requirements

  • Receptionist and or beauty salon/health spa experience preferred.
  • Must possess excellent customer service and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to pass a math test.
  • Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Must be able work any day of the week and any shift.
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance.
  • High school graduate or GED is required.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills required.
  • Professional appearance required.
  • Must be able to maneuver in and around the spa and salon.
  • Must be able to lift, bend, kneel, crouch and stoop when working in the spa and salon.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to operate the following office equipment: computer, photo copy machine, fax and telephone.
  • Responds to visual and oral cues.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Must be able to push towel bins during an assigned shift.
  • Must be able to handle more than one function at a time accurately.
  • Must be able to lift 20lbs.

Nice To Haves
