About The Position

Responsible for the reception area of the salon and spa. Includes the greeting of all guests, answering phone calls, assisting guests with questions regarding salon/spa services and booking all appointments.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Reception desk and/or salon/spa experience.
  • Cash handling experience required.
  • Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer skills.
  • Must be detail oriented, friendly, outgoing and have excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to initiate and engage in conversations in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance as specified in the employee handbook and the department.
  • Able to stand for a long period of time (up to an average 10-hour shift).
  • Able to handle several tasks at once.
  • Able to lift heavy objects and maneuver towel bins in close quarters.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for checking spa guests in & out.
  • Cash handling.
  • Establishing forms of payment for services.
  • Making reservations for massage.
  • Closing books at the end of the business day.
  • Needs to be knowledgeable of other departments services etc.
  • Sales of spa merchandise.
  • Attend to guests' needs accordingly by proving robes, drinks e.t.c.
  • Answering phones, selling and upselling while scheduling appointments and checking in guests
  • Assist guests with their questions regarding spa services and fitness equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the spa and fitness center and stock guest supplies in the spa and locker room area.
