About The Position

Be a part of the pre-opening team for the Omni Ft. Lauderdale Hotel! Opening Fall 2025, the Omni Ft. Lauderdale Hotel is a 29-story hotel, located at 1950 Eisenhower Blvd, and connected directly to the Broward County Convention. The property offers 801 guest rooms and suites, multiple restaurants, a vibrant rooftop bar, a sprawling pool, spa, and fitness center. The hotel will also have over 120,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, including a grand ballroom, junior ballroom, 25 breakout rooms and pre-function meeting space with waterfront views. To ensure a safe, efficient, well-maintained hotel environment while providing maintenance services to guests in a courteous, professional and engaging manner. The Spa Concierge will work as a part of the Spa team to consistently provide the highest possible standard of guest service, creating a sensory journey for guests helping them to rest, relax and regain a sense of balance and harmony in their lives.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-year experience working in a customer service-based position.
  • Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language required.
  • Commitment to exceeding the expectations of customers with strong attention to detail.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
  • Must be able to work a variety of shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Must obtain a State of Florida TIPS Alcoholic Beverage Server Permit.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently provide the highest possible standard of guest service as part of the MOKARA Spa team.
  • Create a sensory journey for guests helping them to rest, relax and regain a sense of balance and harmony.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, greet guests, and provide locker setup of robes and slippers.
  • Ensure pre-selling, up-selling and cross-selling of services and retail products to each guest.
  • Relay product and service benefits to guests and assist with closing of retail sales.
  • Provide tours of the spa and offer/serve beverages as needed.
  • Communicate spa promotions with guests.
  • Maintain cleanliness and neatness of spa facility, locker room and fitness center.
  • Escort guests to the locker room, relaxation area and enlighten them on their services.
  • Perform daily general cleaning and minor maintenance tasks in the spa facility.
  • Open and/or close the hammam, sauna, steam room and whirlpool areas, and ensure their daily sanitation.
  • Adhere to cash handling procedures.
  • Resolve guest challenges in a timely manner and inform management of situations.
