Responsibilities

  • Answer phones, schedule and bill appointments, and possess thorough knowledge of all treatments, services, promotions, and retail items providing exceptional guest service.
  • Answer emails from other departments and guests promptly and in a professional manner.
  • Responsible for the Health and Safety of guests and team members in the spa and adhere to guidelines and procedures outlined in the Health and Safety Manual.
  • Ensure that good practices are applied to all issues in relation to guests and team members.
  • Maintain the highest level of professionalism in all aspects of job performance.
  • Create a welcoming atmosphere for guests during check in and check out.
  • Provide guests and team members with a tour through the facility and familiarize them with the surroundings while explaining the spa culture.
  • Provide knowledgeable recommendations and guidance to ensure guest satisfaction when making reservations and offer multiple treatment bookings and up-sells.
  • Communicate all changes, cancellations, and additions to the leadership team.
  • Accept responsibility for cash drawer and ensure it balances at close of shift.
  • Perform opening and closing duties that include going over check lists.
  • Possess a positive attitude and work with a variety of people and in cooperation with colleagues efficiently and effectively.
  • Learn the names and personally recognize guests and team members.
  • Build and maintain guest profiles to anticipate future needs and deliver superior service.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of current guest services, activities, dining options, shops, local attractions and historical information regarding the company and the surrounding area.
  • Ensure all retail areas are clean and well stocked and maintained.
  • Report all equipment problems and maintenance issues, known safety hazards, or unsafe practices and procedures to supervisor immediately.
  • Attend all scheduled team member meetings.
  • Assist in retail inventory management.
  • Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service.
  • Maintain a clean, hygienic, and neat work environment always, ensuring all equipment is in safe working order.
  • Follow departmental policies and procedures and all safety and sanitation policies.
  • Adhere to AAA service standards and policies.
  • Adhere to all grooming standards as outlined by leadership.

Requirements

  • 1+ years' experience in spa setting is preferred.
  • 2+ years' experience in customer service is required.
  • 2+ years' experience in utilizing POS transactions and software is required.
  • Previous experience working with SpaSoft knowledge preferred.
  • 2+ years' experience in sales and exceeding quota.
  • Must maintain a valid food handlers' card.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Must have flexibility to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to acquire and maintain an appropriate gaming license.
