About The Position

The Spa Concierge is responsible for the overall operation of the spa reception area and telephones. He/she will provide efficient and courteous check in service to residents and guests. The Concierge is responsible for spa appointment booking and handling payments.

Requirements

  • Professional demeanor appropriate for a luxury environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Spa industry luxury hotel, club, or condominium environment.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel.
  • Safety Oriented First Aid and CPR certification, a plus.
  • Outstanding residents’ services skills, professional presentation and sophisticated communication skills.
  • Handle a multitude of tasks in a fast pace environment.
  • Ability to communicate in the English language.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends and able to perform multiple tasks.
  • Experience using computers and software programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be physically fit in order to lift, pull and push items up to 50 pounds.
  • Also requires standing/walking/reaching and bending throughout shift.

Nice To Haves

  • Safety Oriented First Aid and CPR certification, a plus.
  • Multilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule services for residents and ensure prompt response to their calls.
  • Greet residents and guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Check in residents for appointments, confirm first and last name, and provide general spa orientation upon arrival.
  • Answer questions about available services, general property information, and amenities.
  • Answer telephone inquiries promptly and professionally and channel them appropriately.
  • Check in residents and guests.
  • Inform management of last-minute changes and resolve scheduling issues.
  • Record resident preferences and needs by entering information into computer. Promote and sell spa and salon services.
  • Collect payment for services from residents and guests.
  • Any additional tasks assigned by management.
