About The Position

Responsible for the reception area at The Spa and Salon. Warm greeting to all members/guests, answering phone calls, assisting members/guests with questions regarding spa services, scheduling of spa services, checking the member /guest into the computer system (Club Essentials), assisting member/guest to locker room, charging for services performed and overall cleanliness throughout spa.

  • Must be able to tolerate a close-knit environment with constant co-work involvement.
  • Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, staff may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the country club. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years minimum experience at a country club, hotel or spa setting.
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Able to stand for a long period of time (up to average 8-hour shifts)
  • Frequent bending, pushing, pilling, and kneeling.
  • Frequent walking
  • Must be able to sit, stand, crouch, stoop and knell when assisting Members with their needs.

  • Current CPR certification preferred

  • Maintain a clean and well-organized workstation
  • Assist in locker room as needed
  • Refrain from discussing company or personal business with guests or members
  • Knowledge of all spa & salon services
  • Perform other tasks assigned by Spa Supervisor and the Director of Spa and Salon
  • Participate and attend in all training classes and staff meetings
