About The Position

As a spa attendant, you will work in a beautiful space as you fill a support role, ensuring guest satisfaction through spa and retail services. You will be responsible for always keeping a clean well-stocked space. You will be focused on optimizing each guest’s experience by providing a warm, relaxing, personalized and incredibly friendly environment to every guest.

Requirements

• Attendant must be able to maintain a professional, friendly demeanor while multi-tasking and facilitating smooth flow throughout spa and fitness areas.
• Attendant must have a pleasant voice with a willingness to assist our members/guests/staff, have good phone and computer skills, and be able to navigate appointment calendar.
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 40lbs. for short amounts of time.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent, and professional service to Mountaintop members, guests, and staff in a warm, relaxing, team environment.
• Answer all telephone calls within a timely manner and use guest's name when responding.
• Schedule spa reservations for guests using guest's name at every opportunity. Explain/describe in detail Spa treatments, specials, services, and facilities available in a timely, helpful, and friendly manner.
• Verify scheduling details and information with guest. Reconfirm day, time, type of treatment.
• Use suggestive selling when scheduling treatments.
• Maintain a clean and organized desk/lobby area. Be aware of the retail area and keep organized at all times.
• Utilize Spa computers with skill and proficiency.
• Communicate all pertinent information with the team and management.
• Call confirmations
• Manage clean and dirty laundry
• Clean, stock, and sanitize locker room, lounge, wet areas, and fitness center as needed throughout the day.
• Roll towels
• Clean showers and replenish shower amenities
• Set up / empty / sanitize lockers
• Attendant must maintain a flexible schedule and be able to work days, evening, weekends, and holidays when needed. Please, no days off on Fourth of July Weekend, Memorial Day Weekend, or Labor Day Weekend. The Spa Director will do everything possible to address schedule considerations with all Spa and Fitness team members to ensure quality of life
