About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide spa and bathing services for senior residents, with a primary focus on patient-centered whirlpool baths and showers. Reliable attendance and safe, respectful care are essential.

Requirements

  • Current, active CNA certification (state-licensed)
  • Strong attention to detail, infection-control knowledge, and a caring bedside manner
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Reliable attendance and flexibility for scheduled rotations, including every 4th weekend
  • Qualified candidates will be certified nursing assistants.
  • They will possess high personal integrity, a caring attitude and portray a positive image.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with bathing/whirlpool equipment and working with older adults preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide resident-centered whirlpool baths and showers, ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety throughout the bathing experience
  • Perform gentle spa services (hand/foot care, light massages, hair/skin care assistance) within scope of practice
  • Assist with positioning, mobility, transfers, and safe use of bathing equipment (whirlpool tubs, shower chairs, lifts)
  • Monitor residents' physical condition during treatments and report changes to nursing staff immediately
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and proper maintenance of whirlpool and bathing equipment per infection-control protocols
  • Complete required documentation accurately and timely
  • Communicate compassionately with residents, families, and team members
  • Attend trainings and staff meetings; punctual and reliable attendance is highly valued
