  • Receiving, storage, handling, drying, blending, and transferring.

  • Effectively assist with the supervision and management of personnel and operational activities.
  • Assist with managing the business plan according to pre-set objectives.
  • Be familiar with all operations, systems, policies and procedures including, but not limited to: weighing or measuring materials and products and using scales or other measuring instruments in order to verify specified tonnages.
  • Manipulating controls, levers, and valves to start pumps, auxiliary equipment, or conveyors, and to adjust equipment positions, speeds, timing, and material flows.
  • Recording and tracking data such as weights, types, quantities, and storage locations of materials, as well as equipment performance problems and downtime.
  • Cleaning, sterilizing, and maintaining equipment, machinery, and work stations, using hand tools, shovels, brooms, chemicals, hoses, and lubricants.
  • Observing conveyor operations and monitor lights, dials, and gauges, in order to maintain specified operating levels and to detect equipment malfunctions.
  • Assist with preventative maintenance protocols and plant operations.
  • Effectively communicate tasks, directives and policies with both senior management and supervised team members.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Ag Mechanics, Ag Business or similar is preferred.
  • 1-2 years experience in a processing plant, refinery, mill, elevator or with railroad.
  • Available to work off hours and weekends.
  • For safety reasons, must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English.
  • Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications).
  • Able to pass a criminal background check.
