About The Position

We are looking for a retired big 4 controls/SOX compliance consultant. This Deliverable defines the control approach for the Project and includes summary details of how these will be incorporated into the Solution and to compliance process owners. This document will serve as a foundation for the approach to setting up controls processes for the Solution. It should include the automation of business controls, where possible. The document will comply with the Illumina Security Requirements, and the Illumina Controls Requirements and Cyber-Security Requirements, or, where in conflict, explain why the proposed approach is more effective than the Illumina policy.

Requirements

• Experience as a controls/SOX compliance consultant, preferably retired from a big 4 firm.
• Knowledge of S/4HANA.
• Experience with cloud native apps and integrations.
• Familiarity with Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Exposure to AI technologies such as SAP Joule, Hyperscaler, Microsoft Copilot.
• Experience with Business Data Cloud (BDC).
• Knowledge of Snowflake / Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Define the control approach for the Project.
• Incorporate controls into the Solution and compliance process owners.
• Document the automation of business controls.
• Ensure compliance with Illumina Security Requirements and Controls Requirements.
• Detail key financial, operational, and regulatory risks and mitigating control activities.
• Conduct controls gap analysis and mapping of controls to specific business processes.
