We are in a strategic transformation phase and seek a West Coast Territory Manager to accelerate growth in new and existing markets. #LI-remote Overview The Southeast Territory Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, protecting existing accounts, and developing new business opportunities within the pressure-sensitive label (PSA) industry across a multi-state region. This role requires strong technical understanding of labeling materials, papers, adhesives, and converting processes, coupled with a proven track record in consultative sales. You will have autonomy to build processes, implement best practices, and act as a trusted advisor to customers, while collaborating closely with internal teams and leadership.
Requirements
- Knowledge of the Pressure-Sensitive (PSA) market (awareness and application).
- Proven experience managing a multi-state region.
- Willingness to travel frequently (50%–70%).
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree;
- Minimum of 5+ years of sales or business development experience in packaging, printing, or labeling industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of label converting processes, coatings, and adhesive applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Familiarity with sales systems (e.g., Sandler) is a plus.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Responsibilities
- Manage a multi-state territory (VA–FL), ensuring account retention and expansion through hunting + farming.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve sales growth targets in pressure-sensitive labels, adhesives, and paper solutions.
- Develop and execute a strategic business development plan, including recovery of lost customers and penetration into new segments (converters, printers, packaging).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key national accounts, new customers, brand owners, packaging engineers, and procurement teams.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Customer Service, Technical Service, R&D, production) to deliver customized solutions and ensure quality and availability.
- Lead presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations with potential customers.
- Provide technical expertise and consultative support to customers, focusing on label material specifications and application requirements.
- Track and report on sales metrics, forecasts, and pipeline activity using CRM tools.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry networking events (e.g., TLMI).
- Support marketing initiatives to boost visibility and attract talent/customers.
