About The Position
Reports to a member of the operations team and is responsible for taking high level direction while completing the assigned agenda provided at the beginning of the internship program in compliance with company and industry standards, company procedures, regulatory and safety requirements in order to gain a full understanding of Howard Energy Partners and the midstream energy industry. As an intern at HEP, you will: * Be responsible for taking high level direction while completing the assigned agenda provided at the beginning of the internship program in compliance with company and industry standards, company procedures, regulatory and safety requirements in order to gain a full understanding of Howard Energy Partners and the midstream energy industry. * Travel to local sites as required. * Prepare and present an end of summer presentation as a capstone to the internship program. * Apply company safety standards, operations guidelines, industry codes and standards, and best practices in the design and implementation of the assigned summer project. * Communicate with company personnel and contractors for completion of the summer agenda. * Prepare and present an end of summer presentation as a capstone to the internship program.
