About The Position

Requirements

• Possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Basic knowledge of food and health safety codes is required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working in a high-volume restaurant or fine dining establishment is preferred.
• Previous experience managing employees in a union environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations, including managing fiscal budgets, scheduling, inventory control, and executing menu strategies to achieve profitability goals.
• Ensure adherence to restaurant policies, training programs, and health and sanitation standards while fostering compliance and completion of necessary staff training.
• Assist the Executive Chef in creating a positive work environment through effective hiring, training, performance feedback, and promoting teamwork and employee satisfaction.
• Engage with guests to enhance their dining experience, address any complaints promptly, and ensure seamless collaboration between kitchen and service teams.
