We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sous Chef with experience in fine dining and banquet operations to join our team. Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef with a background in fine dining and banquet operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
  • Culinary creativity balanced with cost and quality control.
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Stand and work on your feet for extended periods.
  • Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and long shifts as needed.

  • Formal culinary education preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Managing Chef to design seasonal menus, recipes, and banquet offerings.
  • Ensure the quality, consistency, and presentation of all dishes—whether for a wedding banquet or a fine dining experience.
  • Oversee kitchen operations, maintaining safety, cleanliness, and efficiency.
  • Mentor and train staff, ensuring a skilled and motivated culinary team.
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs while minimizing waste.
  • Step in during high-volume service to support and lead by example.
  • Take full responsibility for kitchen operations when the Managing Chef is away.
  • Coordinate the culinary execution of special events, from plated dinners to buffets.
