Requirements

  • Holds Food Certifications, ie: ServSafe
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a kitchen management role, ideally in a similar setting.
  • A strong foundation in food purchasing, production, and menu planning.
  • The physical ability to stand for the entirety of your shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • A passion for culinary excellence and creating memorable dining experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead with Purpose: Oversee kitchen operations during shifts, including decision-making, staff support, scheduling, and direct interaction with residents.
  • Inspire Excellence: Train, coach, and develop kitchen and service staff, setting clear performance expectations and conducting regular reviews.
  • Drive Culinary Success: Maintain the highest standards in food preparation, plate presentation, cleanliness, and sanitation.
  • Foster Engagement: Build relationships with residents by ensuring meal satisfaction and addressing any concerns with care and attentiveness.
  • Ensure Efficiency: Create and manage staff schedules to optimize kitchen operations and staffing levels.
  • Oversee Inventory & Costs: Manage purchasing, receiving, and storage of food products while maintaining cost efficiency.
  • Prepare for Success: Ensure the kitchen and service areas are fully prepped for each shift, ready to deliver a seamless dining experience.
