Established in 1987, Piatti is a fresh take on the neighborhood Italian trattoria offering Italian cuisine, finely-crafted, with authenticity. The soul of the menu is our house-made pasta that we roll, cut and cook by hand everyday. Piatti combines a warm, inviting atmosphere, seamless service and gourmet takeaway experience with Piatti Provisions; a new retail and pasta shop. Whether dining in or taking home, Piatti brings friends and family together. As a Sous Chef at our restaurant, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our guests. You will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of food to order, ensuring that it meets our high standards of quality, speed, and taste. Ensuring recipes and procedures are followed, you will showcase your culinary skills and attention to detail in every dish created. In addition to your culinary duties, you will also have supervisory responsibilities. Under the direction of the Chef, you will oversee kitchen personnel, ensuring that they adhere to our standards and maintain a high level of professionalism. In the absence of the Chef, you will take charge of managing and supervising all kitchen personnel, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining our commitment to excellence. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for delivering exceptional food, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
