Working as the Sous Chef, you will be responsible for the successful operation of the Culinary Department for the 170-bed Parkview Tower at Barnes Jewish in St. Louis, MO. You will spend 75% of time on retail culinary and 25% of your time in patient dining. The Sous Chef works mostly evening shifts from noon until 9:30pm and rotates weekends and holidays with other salaried managers. You will assist in the supervision, preparation, and cooking of various food items, developing daily menu items and their preparation and garnishment. You may supervise 18-20 hourly associates and you work with Executive Sous Chef and Executive Chef to develop new menus and assist with ordering.
