SUMMARY OF ROLE The CrossPointe Sous Chef is responsible for planning, directing, and supervising food preparation activities in the kitchen. This role involves overseeing all kitchen functions to ensure high-quality meal execution and adherence to kitchen standards. Responsibilities include a variety of tasks such as cooking, plating, and prepping food for various meals. The Sous Chef must be able to follow and enforce instructions related to preparation methods, cooking techniques, plate presentation, portion and cost control, and sanitation protocols. This supervision ensures the efficient and effective operation of the commercial kitchen, dining area, and events center. Areas of responsibility include meal preparation and service for both Life Pacific East and CrossPointe events, served in or from the CrossPointe Café.
