About The Position

Riverside Country Club in Bozeman, MT, wants to add a full-time Sous Chef to its culinary team. Sous Chef is a kitchen management position that earns a competitive yearly salary of $60,000 - $65,000. As a Sous Chef at Riverside, you can create memorable dining experiences for the membership in various ways, from preparing delicious casual fare enjoyed poolside to five-course white tablecloth dinners paired with the finest wines and everything in between. The club also hosts events and private parties requiring high-volume food preparation. Riverside's spacious and air-conditioned kitchen is led by Executive Chef Gregory Short, whose experience includes leading Michelin-starred restaurant Masa's for over a decade. As a vital member of the culinary leadership team, this Sous Chef position is critical to achieving the club's culinary goals. Requirements

  • Formal culinary training OR 2+ years of experience in kitchen management
  • Exceptional cooking skills
  • Knowledge about various cooking methods, ingredients, and procedures
  • Knowledge of food safety standards
  • Knowledge about and ability to perform crucial roles during emergencies
  • Ability to provide leadership in the absence of the Executive Chef
  • Ability to make decisions quickly under pressure
  • Availability for night and weekend shifts is necessary.
