About The Position

Responsible for the coordination of all food production activities. The work involves recipe development, testing and standardization, establishing food specifications, food preparation, service and adherence to sanitation and safety procedures and regulations. Effective performance requires producing products with superior acceptability while keeping expenses within budget. May be responsible for kitchen production in the absence of the Executive Chef.

Requirements

  • Degree or Certification of Completion from a Culinary Arts program or 5 years of applicable experience.
  • Certified in ServeSafe.
  • Working knowledge and demonstrated experience with HACCP, as well as, other safety and sanitation practices and regulations.
  • Current valid Ohio Driver’s License in good standing with insurance company acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a chef.
