Davidson Dining is looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join our Culinary Team. The Sous Chef is responsible for the day-to-day culinary operations for an assigned location. They are hands on and accountable for all aspects of guest service, food quality, cleanliness, safety and sanitation, production, labor and ensuring all administrative and accounting responsibilities are completed according to policy. The Sous chef will lead the team, directing the activities of team members and provide consistent training, coaching, and development. Surrounded by fresh ingredients and the best equipment, you will be immersed in a world that goes beyond food preparation – experimenting with different cuisines, flavors, and cooking styles. Sous chef will accurately and efficiently lead the team to prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods: to include breakfast, lunch, dinner and special / catered events. The Sous Chef position is a 9-month - Full time benefited position that produces hot and cold food in quantity to service our guests 3-meals- a-day, 7-days-a-week. Night and weekend work required.
