Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role in a culinary environment.
• Strong culinary skills and creativity in dish preparation and presentation.
• Ability to follow complex recipes and execute them with precision.
• Leadership skills to mentor and develop a culinary team.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards in food preparation.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a senior living or healthcare food service environment.
• Knowledge of dietary restrictions and special dietary needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and mentor a talented team under the guidance of the Executive Chef.
• Prepare a wide range of exquisite dishes, from small-batch artisanal creations to large-scale productions.
• Contribute to menu planning and ensure meticulous execution of diverse culinary offerings, including those for special dietary needs.
• Prioritize safety, quality, and continuous improvement, adhering to the highest standards of culinary practice.
• Promote the growth and development of the foodservice team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Deliver high-quality service, actively engaging with and ensuring the satisfaction of customers.
