About The Position

Lincoln Electric has an outstanding opportunity for a Strategic Sourcing Specialist. The Strategic Sourcing Specialist plays a key role in identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to negotiate effectively. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field preferred or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience in procurement or sourcing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP ERP preferred
• Knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance standards
• Strong negotiating and problem-solving skills
• Uncompromising attitude towards quality and customer satisfaction
• Develop professional relationships and build rapport with others
• Strong interpersonal skills; excellent written and oral communication skills; must be able to communicate with internal and external teams and arbitrate difficult problems
• Ability to work independently with little supervision; willing to work overtime as needed
• Team oriented; interact with vendors; interface with other departments regularly via phone, chat, email and video conference

Responsibilities

• Conduct research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues that arise
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements
• Identify opportunities for efficiency gains, develop and implement sourcing strategies for optimal procurement
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in procurement and sourcing
