Chief procurement specialist responsible for procuring the most technologically complex and expensive commodity or group of commodities, tools, or parts. Responsible for conducting exceptionally difficult negotiations with all levels of U.S. and international supplier management. Serves as primary interface between company components and suppliers on strategic/critical quality, engineering and procurement matters. Develops and implements long- and short-range procurement strategies for very complex and high-risk items. Role typically requires more than 12 years of experience.
