About The Position

We're looking for a MRO Sourcing Specialist who enjoys digging into data and finding smart ways to cut costs. In this role, you'll help shape sourcing strategies for equipment, materials, and services, while also managing vendor relationships and specific MRO categories. You'll play a key part in tracking performance, supporting major projects, and driving meaningful cost savings through your insights and analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business management, business administration, accounting, or related field
• 1+ years of experience in strategic sourcing experience, procurement, purchasing, financial analysis, data analytics, and/or related field
• Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office Suite
• Intermediate skills in MS Excel such as formulas, VLOOKUP's, pivot tables, and/or data manipulation

Responsibilities

• Conduct training and information support as needed for Suppliers and Mosaic employee in topics associated with the Strategic Sourcing Process, Alliance Supplier implementation and transition, Supplier Scorecard/KPI processes and Supplier utilization
• Monitor vendor KPIs, contracts, and rebates and make value add information available to Buyers/Managers for incorporation into their bid reviews
• Develop and implement other KPI's as necessary to drive performance
• Track and report trends in spend in key services and MRO categories
• Benchmark Mosaic costs vs key market indicators (PPI, CPI, commodity pricing) to ensure that the prices paid are competitive with the market
• Monitor contractor and supplier performance versus commercially agreed terms
• Provide analytical support for strategic sourcing projects aimed at reducing spend in MRO and other areas as assigned
• Play key role in support of the 9 step strategic sourcing process by providing analysis, supplier and market data
• Assist with development of the fact base and participate in strategy development for the category
• Lead projects and provide vendor management for assigned MRO categories.
• Analyze item usage looking for efficiency improvements and cost savings through vendor assignment, tail spend management, and standardization opportunities
• Research and address item and/or vendor issues as brought forward
