About The Position

The Sourcing, Procurement and Vendor Management Manager is responsible for overseeing the strategic sourcing of software and vendors, managing procurement processes including contract negotiation and governance, and ensuring effective vendor management through ongoing monitoring and risk mitigation. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to manage relationships with third-party vendors and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in a corporate financial environment managing relationships and risks with third-party vendors.
• Experience with vendor contracts, financial, security, and operational/business continuity risks across multiple lines of business.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Strong leadership, relationship management, interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
• General understanding of third-party/vendor risk management principles and practices.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Regulatory Vendor Program Manager (CRVPM) or ability to obtain within the first year of employment.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and expectations of regulators.
• Familiarity with products and services offered by a financial institution.

Responsibilities

• Management of the third-party vendor landscape.
• Ensure optimal stack of software and vendors through strategic sourcing.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors.
• Governance and onboarding of vendors.
• Ongoing monitoring and risk mitigation for vendor deficiencies.
• Offboarding of vendors as necessary.
