What you’ll be doing: Assist buyers with placing and tracking purchase orders while learning the full sourcing process Analyze inventory levels, recommend adjustments, and see how your insights impact operations Research vendors, products, and market trends to support data-driven decision making Communicate with vendors on pricing, lead times, and order confirmations to strengthen relationships Gather and analyze data to create supplier scorecards and provide visibility to leadership Monitor delivery schedules and ensure timely receipt of goods that keep production moving Collaborate with internal teams (logistics, materials specialists, engineering) to drive alignment and results Contribute to Continuous Improvement Initiatives (Greenheck Pitstops) that shape the future of our processes Assist in compiling and developing purchased component forecasts that inform strategic planning Participate in meetings with vendors and internal teams, presenting updates on key initiatives Document and track vendor quality incidents using our quality management system to support continuous improvement Support and contribute to vendor contract activities and strategic discussions In this role, you will procure purchased parts and materials as needed to support Greenheck Group’s manufacturing need. This includes responsibilities around resolving any procurement, quality, logistics, external vendors, and inventory related issues, including appropriate SAP transactions. You'll support the end-to-end flow of materials, information and supplier collaboration that keeps operations running efficiently This position will allow you to impact our business while learning about our company and culture. What you should have: Enrollment in a related bachelor’s degree program (Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or similar) On track to graduate in the next 2 years or less Minimum GPA of 3.0 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with curiosity to learn and improve processes Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); exposure to ERP/SAP systems is a plus Ability to collaborate with peers, leaders, and vendors while managing multiple priorities Availability to work onsite Monday through Friday during standard business hours Things You Should Know: Team members in our college programs: Network: You will interact and network with the intern & co-op group across the U.S. (about 50 total college students) Meet Our Executives: You will present your projects and experiences to our company leaders and executives at the end of your term. Compensation and Benefits: Greenheck Group takes pride in providing competitive pay. The starting base pay range for this position is $19-$24/hour and may vary based type of position and school seniority.
