About The Position

The Sourcing Manager is responsible for leading strategic sourcing projects, obtaining customer quotes, and driving cost savings across all direct and indirect material categories. This role acts as the key liaison between internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure alignment of sourcing strategies with business objectives. The role serves as a subject matter expert with no direct reports. Responsibilities include following all company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with quality systems and cGMP programs, leading quoting activities, savings projects, and strategic initiatives, and collaborating with site leadership and stakeholders to manage the supply base effectively. The Sourcing Manager is also responsible for delivering established cost savings targets through competitive bidding processes and effective negotiation of supply and service agreements. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with internal customers to define business requirements, staying abreast of market and industry trends, and developing and driving an annual strategic sourcing plan.

Requirements

• Sourcing or project management experience.
• Must have a college degree or equivalent.
• Five years work experience.
• No certifications or licenses required.
• Must have complex math skills.
• Complex reading skills required.
• Complex computer skills needed.
• Must have complex language skills.
• Must have complex writing skills.
• Must be willing to learn new tasks and procedures.
• Ability to efficiently and effectively perform all essential position duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation without posing a direct safety threat to others or self.
• Maintains a regular and dependable work attendance record with few instances of unplanned and/or unexpected absence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver established cost savings targets through competitive bidding processes and effective negotiation of supply and service agreements.
• Manage all direct material costs and track project PPV.
• Engage internal clients as a strategic partner while creating value through sourcing.
• Stay abreast of market and industry trends to benchmark best practices and develop appropriate strategies.
• Develop and drive an annual strategic sourcing plan.
