About The Position

RingCentral is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our Indirect Procurement team, focusing primarily on the Software category. The ideal candidate will support the end-to-end sourcing process, drive cost savings initiatives, negotiate vendor contracts, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure optimal results in terms of cost, quality, and timing. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in strategic sourcing while contributing directly to business efficiency and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain, preferably in the software category or technology domain.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite / Google Workspace; experience with procurement tools (e.g., Coupa, Netsuite) is a plus.
  • Must reside near and be able to work from our Denver, CO or Belmont, CA office.
  • Excel at relationship building.
  • Be able to be tactical while pushing for strategic improvements.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in indirect procurement within a mid-to-large sized enterprise.
  • Familiarity with software licensing models, SaaS agreements, and vendor risk assessments.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a category strategy for software procurement in collaboration with key stakeholders and IT leadership.
  • Support sourcing initiatives, including RFIs/RFPs, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations.
  • Maintain vendor relationships, manage contract renewals, and monitor supplier performance where applicable.
  • Work closely with Legal, Finance, and IT teams to ensure contract compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Conduct market and supplier research to stay current on trends and benchmark pricing.
  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the procurement organization.
