Requirements

• Sophomore year or higher, majoring or minoring in Supply Chain Management.
• Strong drive for results; manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Fast learner to new concepts, natural curiosity and willingness to ask questions.
• Proficient in basic Microsoft Office applications, mainly excel formulas and functions.
• Able to travel domestically for 1-2 days at a time.

Nice To Haves

• A desire to work in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Learn various aspects of the procurement function by working on the Strategic Sourcing team alongside Commodity Managers, Quality Engineers, and Materials Management team.
• Provide day-to-day support of existing team members as well as take ownership of specific projects designed to achieve supplier cost, quality, and delivery improvements.
• Collaborate with other functions of the organization including Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Sales to achieve objectives.
• Take lead role managing 1-3 projects that are designed to drive material productivity, improve supplier delivery performance, and reduce quality non-conformances.
• Collaborate internally and externally to manage projects.
• Perform market analysis to support strategic negotiations with key suppliers.
• Support Materials and Logistics team for various projects.
