Verily’s Strategic Sourcing & Partnership team is responsible for working with a diverse set of internal stakeholders to identify suppliers, conducting contract negotiations with selected suppliers, managing implementation and ongoing supplier management, and identifying opportunities to consolidate spend and leverage the existing supply base.

Requirements

  • Experience negotiating and drafting contracts across a broad range of contract types, suppliers, and products/services
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and concepts and ability to identify potential commercial and legal risks/issues
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Contract management or paralegal experience in high transaction volume environments
  • Bachelor's degree or 7 to 9 years of relevant experience
  • Qualified applicants must not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of low to medium risk contracts including but not limited to business services, clinical services, professional services, marketing, SaaS and licensing.
  • Work cross-functionally with product managers, legal, compliance, finance, and other departments to ensure obligations and requirements of agreements are fully understood and appropriately resolved.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Partner with legal to develop/improve legal templates and processes to reduce contracting turnaround time.
