About The Position

The Sourcing Category Manager at Pure Fishing is responsible for developing and implementing global sourcing strategies and managing supplier relationships to ensure a world-class supplier base. This role collaborates with various departments to support a profitable product portfolio, focusing on cost, quality, and performance to maintain a competitive advantage.

Requirements

• BS in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Sourcing or related experience
• OEM experience in Low Cost Region
• Strong communication skills both oral and written
• Good problem-solving skills

• Extensive knowledge of OEM landscape in Low Cost Regions
• Strong knowledge of the strategic sourcing methodology and its application
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage strategic supplier relationships
• Results-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong negotiation skills, including understanding of legal terms and conditions
• Strong analytical skills, including ability to synthesize and interpret market data

Responsibilities

• Organize and lead all internal stakeholders to develop and implement Sourcing Strategy for Finished Goods
• Develop strong preferred supplier relationships across the entire value chain
• Conduct global business reviews to drive KPI performance including lead time, OTD, quality, production support and flexibility
• Assist business in resolution of critical quality and service problems
• Manage Sourced Finished Goods cost to achieve organization goals
• Negotiate global contractual agreements with OEM suppliers
• Perform RFQ events with assigned categories
• Conduct risk mitigation analysis on supply base
