About The Position

The Sourcing Associate of Product Development will support category management aligned with supply chain and business strategies. This role involves overseeing sourcing, product development, pre-production costing, and production responsibilities to meet organizational goals and metrics.

Requirements

  • At least 2-4 years of experience in the Product Development, Sourcing & Manufacturing.
  • Experience in apparel a plus (wovens and/or cut and sew knits).
  • Must be analytical; understand the supply goals & metrics.
  • Good judgment & decision-making skills (with an ability to get to root cause analysis).
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills (to include good listening & negotiation skills).
  • Must be detail oriented, resourceful, have excellent follow-up skills; learning and using all appropriate contacts to gather information & drive solutions.
  • Must be enthusiastic and flexible and able to function in a fast-paced environment, with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate, transcending different cultures, geographies & time zones.
  • Computer skills - Microsoft office, specifically Advanced Excel is a must (pivot tables, v lookups are required), PDM/PLM are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Track and strive for on-time and complete arrival of proto samples.
  • Represent Product Development in cross-functional calendar milestones when the Manager is unavailable, including sketch reviews, proto reviews, and fittings.
  • Manage and maintain all Proto & SRS samples, submitting them for cross-functional meetings with design.
  • Attend fittings with Design up to SMS fit, ensuring detailed notes are kept and revising sketches or bill of materials.
  • Support the manager with assigned projects for management business reviews/meetings.
  • Assist in achieving calendar milestones.
  • Maintain updated information in partnership with PVH overseas offices to ensure meeting deliverables and updating systems (PLM, etc.).
  • Analyze new developments critically to ensure meeting aesthetic requirements within targeted cost parameters.
  • Collaborate with hub partners to ensure vendors have accurate cost targets.
  • Develop and maintain tracking reports as necessary.
  • Assist in monitoring seasonal sample status, providing mitigation plans where needed at all development stages.
  • Participate in proto/SRS reviews & line finalization meetings when necessary.
  • Support the issuance of Proto orders via the system.
  • Receive and distribute submits as needed.
  • Timely follow-up/email communications with cross-functional onshore/offshore teams.
  • Track and maintain records of details, updates, changes for (PLM) system and proto samples, ensuring adherence to calendar milestones.
  • Collaborate with Supply Manager and Design on seasonal R D and new sourcing opportunities.
  • Manage Supply Team Projects as required.
  • Handle other responsibilities and projects as assigned.
  • Monitor calendar deliverables with vendors and cross-functional partners, escalating any issues or late deliverables.
