STACK is looking for a Sourcing Analyst who will report directly to the Director of Procurement. This role will support multiple aspects of the supply chain, including (but not limited to) competitively bidding commercial mechanical and electrical equipment (“MEP”), negotiation with incumbent vendors, and negotiate pricing. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with the development and execution of all RFI and RFP activities, purchase order management, and purchasing analytics. This role will frequently collaborate with peer departments such as construction, engineering, and finance to ensure continuity of equipment delivery. This role will focus on cost savings and vendor performance, entailing cost modeling, supply chain forecasting and competitive analysis. This cross-functional role requires strong communication and collaboration with other members of the Sourcing and Supply Chain organization, executive leadership, engineering, construction, finance, sales teams, and other departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in procurement-related field
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • ERP, Procurement and Analytical system experience preferred
  • Strong background in data analysis and reporting

Responsibilities

  • Devise procurement strategies for North America; driving all strategic and tactical procurement activities for construction projects.
  • Accomplish strategic sourcing tasks, including competitive bidding preparation, vendor selection, price negotiation, and award.
  • Become an expert on key vendor products and their associated demand to ensure proper procurement schedules.
  • Work closely with MEP Directors, to provide best-value solutions for raw materials and outsourced products.
  • Provide qualitative data analysis and data management to provide meaningful insights, communicate key findings to fellow supply chain colleagues and construction teams.
  • Conduct cost modeling to identify RFP proposal costs and present recommendations to finance and construction teams.
  • Manage complex POs from origination to completion.
  • Implement effective systems and processes to provide value throughout the supply chain and support lean manufacturing initiatives.
