About The Position

Reporting to the Director of Project Management in the Facilities Management Department, the Sourcing Analyst is primarily responsible for the preparation and coordination of design and construction contracts and related documents for the Office of Project Management, Office of Planning and Design, and Utility and Engineering Services. The role includes supporting the bidding and procurement processes, administering the e-Builder project management system, providing administrative assistance, and performing other general tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Five years of related working experience with design and construction contracts.
  • Knowledge of contract law, accounting, and business principles.
  • Experience with design and construction contracts.
  • Experience with the e-Builder or similar project management systems.
  • Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office and Adobe applications.
  • Superior communication, emotional intelligence, and interpersonal skills.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to train and mentor other staff.
  • Organizational skills to manage large volumes of data.
  • Ability to work onsite and coordinate with various individuals.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree and/or Bachelor's degree in a field related to contract law, accounting, or business.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation and coordination of design and construction contracts and related documents.
  • Supporting the bidding and procurement processes.
  • Administrating the e-Builder project management system.
  • Processing, reviewing, tracking, and filing of various agreements and contracts.
  • Maintaining timely contract processing through the e-Builder system.
  • Providing support to departmental personnel on contract issues.
  • Interacting with designers, contractors, and vendors on contract issues.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal contract forms and procurement policies.
  • Maintaining contractor and vendor data within the e-Builder system.
  • Assisting with the administration and contracting of master service agreements.
  • Managing the Contractor and Consultant Prequalification Process.
  • Initiating capital projects in the e-Builder system.
  • Assisting Project Managers with project closeout information and documentation.
  • Providing administrative support for the Directors and Project Managers.
  • Training and mentoring staff.
