About The Position

The Senior Supervisor Source to contract Lead, its responsible for leading and developing a high-performing S2C team in LATAM, driving effective performance management, and implementing procurement strategies that optimize operational efficiency, supplier performance, and profitability. It's also focused on building strong internal partnerships, advancing category strategies, and applying Johnson & Johnson's Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day leadership. The role will supervise individual contributors and will be accountable for performance management and the operational excellence of the S2C function, delivering end-to-end sourcing activities across LATAM. It requires strong stakeholder management with internal users and Regional Category Leaders to ensure alignment between category strategy and sourcing strategy. The role also involves proactively seeking strategic projects in the sourcing and procurement automation space. The role develops and maintains supplier relationships, influences procurement strategy, and research market trends impacting pricing, availability, and quality of materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of procurement/sourcing experience, with leadership experience
  • Validated experience with end-to-end Source to Contract processes (RFI/RFP/Bid/Negotiation) and cross-functional collaboration
  • Strong negotiation and analytical abilities
  • Stakeholder management and relationship-building
  • Data-driven decision making and performance analytics
  • Change management and Process improvement focus
  • Project management and critical thinking
  • Spanish and Portuguese required; English: high proficiency required for effective collaboration with global teams.

Responsibilities

  • Implement category strategy projects and drive annual value improvements in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
  • Identify business demand requirements and partner with stakeholders to deliver competitive advantage, including financial, service, reliability, quality, innovation, and growth commitments.
  • Lead and implement all steps of the J&J Sourcing and Spend Management framework across LatAm (RFI, RFP, Bid, Negotiation, Spend Cleansing, Diverse Suppliers).
  • Collaborate with regional category leaders to ensure visibility and alignment of Sourcing categories across LatAm. Ensure category strategies align with sourcing strategies.
  • Identify and implement strategic sourcing projects, continuously improve supplier performance through data review, performance management, and opportunity for process improvement and automation.
  • Mitigate supply risks and improve supplier reliability through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Manage cost optimization by analyzing pricing changes and identifying cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal users to understand business objectives and sourcing needs.
  • Drive operational excellence within the S2C team (workflow, performance, compliance) and ensure achievement of team goals to defined standards.
  • Apply Johnson & Johnson's Credo and Leadership Imperatives in all daily interactions and leadership activities.
  • Proactively address customer issues/complaints and provide corrective resolutions aligned with user requirements.
  • Proactively identify and pursue strategic sourcing and procurement automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and value.
  • Lead individual contributors and conduct effective performance management, coaching, and development planning.
  • Set and monitor team critical metrics; provide regular feedback and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure proper resource planning, workload balance, and adherence to compliance standards.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Continuously research market trends affecting pricing, availability, and quality of materials and services.
  • Maintain and deepen relationships with strategic suppliers, conduct data reviews, performance management, and capability development.
  • Find opportunities for supplier innovation and end-to-end value improvements.
