Clackamas Water Environment Services (WES) is searching for two Source Control Specialists to join our team of skilled water professionals. The Source Control Specialist is a part of a work team, ensuring industries within the Clackamas WES service districts comply with Federal, State, and Local regulations governing the discharge of industrial wastewater. In this position, primary responsibilities will include reviewing and issuing industrial wastewater permits, reviewing pretreatment activities with industrial users, and assisting in managing WES's septage and biosolids program. Additionally, the Source Control Specialist will perform monitoring and sampling of industrial discharges, biosolids, septage, and storm and surface water. Responsibilities will also include response to spills and illicit discharges to perform investigations for watershed protection. This recruitment is a unique opportunity as we have two vacancies: one (1) focused on WES' Industrial Pretreatment Program implementation; and one (1) focused on WES' Biosolids Program implementation.
