About The Position
The Supply Chain Project Manager at Turner Construction Company is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of one or more supply chain projects. This role involves coordinating product selection, deliveries, and subcontractor installations in collaboration with internal SourceBlue teams. The Project Manager will actively participate in discussions with SourceBlue and Turner Business Unit (BU) Business Development (BD) teams, as well as project leadership, to secure business opportunities for SourceBlue. This includes supporting technical sales efforts for BU Business Development and Pre-Construction, which may involve client presentations, reviewing packages, and scheduling. In addition to these responsibilities, the Project Manager will partner with SB Preconstruction teams to assess logistics for estimating products and ensure compliance with purchasing and risk management policies. They will develop project-specific scopes of work for product vendors, review these with the SB National Supply Chain team, and create bid packages to issue to vendors. The role requires analyzing vendor bids against contract requirements and preparing bid analysis spreadsheets for project team review. The Project Manager will solicit vendor product pricing for project estimates and budgeting, assess vendor contract terms, and coordinate the review process with the Supply Chain Business Manager and National SB Supply Chain team. The position also involves managing vendor submittals, factory testing, delivery of products, equipment training for owners' staff, and maintaining records for purchased equipment. The Project Manager will oversee budget and financial reporting for each project, interpret and analyze reports for adherence to project budgets, and manage the project and vendor payment application process. Other duties may be assigned as necessary, making this a dynamic and multifaceted role within the organization.
