Turner Construction is seeking a SourceBlue Supply Chain Business Manager to manage the growth and utilization of SourceBlue supply chain services within Turner business units. This role involves overseeing project management of supply chain operations and ensuring the delivery of services to committed projects. The successful candidate will collaborate with the business unit sales team and project leadership on sales activities, participate in lead generation, and create solutions for single-site clients. The position requires providing supply chain expertise and guidance to business unit projects, collaborating with preconstruction teams, and participating in sales proposal development. The SourceBlue Supply Chain Business Manager will also manage relationships with small to medium local customer accounts and vendors, oversee operational execution for projects, and serve as an escalation point for issue management. Establishing measures to monitor and mitigate risks is crucial, as is owning the outcomes of project performance and growth, including budget estimates and profit plans. The role requires strategizing with internal teams to assess and identify products based on client requirements, adopting new product offerings, and managing staff and operational processes. Additionally, the manager will be responsible for educating job site personnel on the implementation of purchased equipment, managing budget and financial reporting, and ensuring timely submission and payment of supplier invoices. The position also involves participating in the hiring process, onboarding, and delivering performance feedback for direct reports. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
