The right Sound Technician checklist will include equal parts curious learner, innovator, administrator, detail driver, mentor, and motivator. This role exists to provide the Entertainment Department with quality sound technicians for shows in order to provide Park Guests with a high-quality entertainment experience. The ideal candidate will be able to display Lead with Love qualities, strongly rooted in the Dollywood Company culture, by being patient, kind, trusting, unselfish, truthful, forgiving, dedicated and accountable.

Requirements

Must have experience mixing and supporting live theatrical sound
Must be able to operate audio system in a safe manner
Must be able to operate a computer
Must possess a valid Tennessee driver's license and auto insurance
Able to make a friendly impression when speaking to or corresponding with guests, vendors, and other employees
Must reflect Dollywood's image by being genuinely friendly and caring and by taking pride in work
Must be self-motivated and disciplined
Must be able to prioritize and complete work assignments on a timely basis
Must maintain strict confidentiality and judgment regarding privileged information
Must be committed to continuous improvement
Must have professional appearance with good personal hygiene

Must be able to lift and carry or help lift and carry items up to 50lbs

Responsibilities

Mix sound for stage shows
Reset stages for next show
Changing stage sets for different shows
Routine maintenance and upkeep of audio system and related components
Wear Dollywood Entertainment provided costume or uniform
Keep work area orderly, neat, safe, and well maintained
Assist in other areas of the Entertainment Division as directed
Drive company vehicles (cars, vans, non-commercial trucks) to transport personnel and/or supplies
