About The Position
The Sorter / Packer is responsible for sorting, inspecting, and packing products in a fast-paced production or warehouse environment. This role ensures products meet quality standards and are properly packaged for storage or shipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- Previous packing or production experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Sort products based on size, quality, or specifications
- Pack products into boxes, bags, or containers according to guidelines
- Inspect products for defects or damage
- Label and prepare finished packages for shipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety, quality, and production procedures
- Meet daily production and efficiency goals
- Assist with other production duties as needed
