About The Position

The Rescue Mission is seeking a Full-Time Sorter III (Team Lead) for our Donations Redistribution Center – Household Items Department . This leadership role oversees personnel, workload, and daily operations within an assigned area, ensuring safety, efficiency, and productivity while delivering quality results. As a Team Lead, you will inspire and energize your team, fostering pride in our shared purpose.

Requirements

Availability for day shift (Sunday–Thursday) , with occasional overtime and holiday work.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
1–3 years experience in a production warehouse or retail environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of production operations and clothing categorization/brands.
Ability to lift 50 lbs , bend, and stand for extended periods.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Passion for the Mission & Vision of the organization.

Responsibilities

Lead & Motivate: Train, guide, and inspire team members to achieve quotas and productivity goals. Communicate priorities clearly and effectively across all channels.
Monitor Performance: Track and review weekly production goals and outcomes.
Resource Management: Ensure adequate inventory and tools are available for efficient operations.
Employee Relations: Support management in maintaining positive team dynamics.
Order Fulfillment: Assist with final preparation of store orders, including loading, staging, and completing manifests, as well as outbound salvage shipments.
Safety & Compliance: Assess processes and equipment to maintain a safe work environment. Promote a safety-first culture by modeling and enforcing policies.
Team Culture: Foster diversity, employee growth, and teamwork.
Attendance: Consistent, in-person attendance is essential.
