The Sorter/Hanger position is for individuals who are detail-oriented, enjoy working independently, and have an affinity for apparel brands and styles. As a member of the Apparel team, responsibilities include obtaining general knowledge of apparel categories and sizing, determining the quality and value of items for sale, providing quality assurance by checking for imperfections, pricing, sizing, and tagging apparel and linens, and hanging salable goods on racks.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be willing and able to work days, evenings, and weekends
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend, and reach for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, carry or otherwise move up to 40 pounds with no support regularly
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Prior experience in a retail environment preferred
Responsibilities
- Obtain a general knowledge of apparel categories and sizing
- Determine quality and value of items to be sold in the store
- Provide quality assurance by checking items for imperfections
- Price, size, and tag apparel and linens according to type
- Hang salable goods on racks
