We are committed to delivering exceptional services to our clients, and we're seeking a motivated and capable Sortation Lead to join our team. As a Sortation Lead at Better Trucks, you will be responsible for leading and training new team members. You will follow appropriate standard operating procedures (SOPs) as guidelines for operating and maintaining equipment. Your role will involve overseeing the day-to-day operations of the sorting process within our Hillside facility. You will help lead a team of sorting operators, ensure smooth workflow, and maintain accurate sorting of items for efficient delivery. In this position, you will perform various warehouse functions including scanning, labeling, and sortation of packages. You will determine employee training needs to produce continuous development plans and be responsible for supervising and training employees effectively. Communication is key, as you will perform assigned tasks and maintain proper job safety conditions. You will ensure that all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times, conduct performance evaluations, and resolve individual and group performance issues. Additionally, you will perform cleaning duties related to warehouse equipment and general housekeeping as required. Participation in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of the company, products, sales, and services will also be part of your responsibilities, along with performing any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and abide by our core values.
