About The Position
Ultraform Industries is seeking a dedicated Sort Associate/Part Inspector to join our team in Romeo, Michigan. As an automotive supplier specializing in metal stamping and wire forming manufacturing, we have been a successful, growth-oriented company in Macomb County for over 50 years. This position is ideal for individuals looking for a full-time opportunity with a structured schedule. The Sort Associate will work from Tuesday to Friday, 5:45 AM to 4:15 PM, with the possibility of overtime on Saturdays as needed. No prior experience is required, as we provide comprehensive training to ensure our team members are well-prepared for their roles. The Sort Associate will be responsible for testing and inspecting products according to customer requirements, recording sort results as per quality control instructions, and tracking activities to document good and bad sort outcomes on daily time sheets. Additionally, the role involves correctly labeling containers and boxes of parts for shipment to our customers. This position requires a self-motivated and organized individual with a keen eye for detail and strong counting skills. Candidates should be prepared for some physical demands, including lifting and moving items of varying weights.
