About The Position

Perform routine, advanced, invasive, non-invasive, and interventional cardiovascular ultrasound procedures independently Operate and maintain ultrasonographic equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images and blood flow data Work closely with physicians to review studies, clarify findings, and support accurate diagnoses Document studies thoroughly in the electronic medical record (EMR) and support patient flow Support clinic operations through scheduling assistance, training, and cross-department staffing as needed How You’ll Drive Our Mission Forward: Deliver accurate, high-quality cardiovascular and vascular ultrasound studies that support excellent patient care Ensure patient safety, comfort, and clear communication throughout the diagnostic process Maintain compliance with CIS standards, HIPAA regulations, and documentation requirements Contribute to efficient clinic operations by managing time effectively and assisting team members Uphold CIS’s patient-centered philosophy through professionalism, teamwork, and compassionate care

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular ultrasound, radiologic technology, cardiopulmonary, or related program with ultrasound training
  • ARDMS or CCI registered (or registry-eligible) in Vascular and Cardiac Ultrasound
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and normal vs. abnormal flow characteristics
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with physicians, staff, and patients
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accurate documentation and quality imaging
  • Motivated to maintain continuing education and remain current in vascular technology
