About The Position

As an Echo Tech, you will assist ProMedica physicians with the diagnosis and treatment of illness and injuries by performing diagnostic ultrasounds. You will inform patients about their procedure and ensure they – and their loved ones – understand and feel comfortable about their procedure. You will play a key role in providing clinical excellence to ProMedica patients. ProMedica is a mission-driven, not-for-profit health care organization headquartered in Toledo, Ohio. It serves communities across nine states and provides a range of services, including acute and ambulatory care, a dental plan, and academic business lines. ProMedica owns and operates 10 hospitals and has an affiliated interest in one additional hospital. Requirements

Must have attended an approved school of diagnostic ultrasound or have the equivalent experience accepted by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers
Must be registered as a diagnostic sonographer by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) and must maintain active registry status. If not registered, must become registered within one year
