Accepts referrals for ultrasound, documents exams, and provides billing codes. 25% 2. Obtains patient history, instructs patient on ultrasound procedure and performs appropriate exam(s). 25% 3. Records representative video documentation and hard copy images of the examination. Prepares written reports of gyn exam and generates computer BABE reports for OB exams. Interacts with provider when appropriate. 25% 4. Maintains equipment, records of service/repairs and preventative maintenance. Monitors equipment operation. 10% 5. Monitors quality assurance as it relates to the ultrasound (e.g. cleanliness of room/equipment, safe working condition of ultrasound machine, cables, and transducers). Maintains and orders supplies related to ultrasound. 10% 6.
